Kit, I was wondering what alternatives you could suggest for the words that bug you. (Not that I am suggesting anyone should change) frankly - i just think they're overused, empty, and useless comments. seriously. whenever i hear somebody drone on about the "imagery" in a song it makes me want to gag. i've heard it a million times before. it's not that i hate imagery, or hate catchy choruses. in fact, i love those things. it's that i'm sick of the (all-too-common) handful of stock phrases that most self-proclaimed "critics" of songs trot out when the want to say something intelligent about someone's song. i'd rather talk about the real stuff. is that more clear?
