Sigh, an unfortunate thing I've been seeing recently in a LOT of regions - dead JPFolks boards! C'mon! In any case, my partner Heather Lloyd and myself (rob hinkal) collectively known as the percussive acoustic act ilyAIMY, are passing through parts of Connecticut this weekend - Fri April 29th - at the Centre Coffee Bar. 20 Union St, Windsor, CT | 7.30pm | $5 suggested donation Sat April 30th - at the Jitters Coffeehouse w. SourGrapes. 1273 Queen St., Route 10, Southington, CT | 860.747.1100 | 8pm For more about our "award-winning sound" (makes us sound like coffee - but we're finalists at Kerrville Folk Festival this year, as well as Susquehanna Music and Arts Festival, won the Takoma Park Folk Festival's new artist competition last year, and have a couple of Washington Area Music Association nominations as well) check out our website at www.ilyaimy.com. We'd Love some support at our gigs. Also - a great open mic we've discovered - Tuesday nights, 7pm at the above Centre Coffee Bar - some awesome talent, excellent voices... and for those who claim CT as a small state - we're driving through Texas, and yes, CT doesn't quite compare... but man, drive CT length-wise along 95 at 2am and try and tell me it's small! ------------------ -rob 301.910.2575 www.ilyaimy.comDangerous Music for Dangerous Times
