In August, British R&B star Craig David performed in Kampala, Uganda. The tour was part of celebrations to mark 25 years as a recording artist. I love Craig's music but felt insulted that he had only his laptop, a turntable and a big soundbox. No band! There he was, prancing between the stage and getting behind the machines to change and tweak tracks. Lucky for him, most revellers that night, didn't mind. They were to have CRAIG DAVID right in front of them, singing songs they love...:-)
