Welcome to JPF. Nice to have ya with us. You commented that you wanted to find out how other folks got started writing. If you go back through all the posts on this particular thread, you will read some very interesting stories on that subject. And your story is one of the more intriquing ones I have read so far!

You are the first person I have "met" who has told me that all or most of their lyrics come to them in their sleep. And then to write a song based upon those dreams in just a few minutes...that's pretty darned incredible!

Congratulations on the success you have had so far. Hope the business continues to get better for you. You said that you were "a ripe old age". From your post here, that would be hard to believe...not that I don't. You just "sound" like a youthful and energetic person with a lot of ambition and talent. I'm no longer ripe...I'm just old and rotten!
