I ended up with the Tascam US122. It was the best-sounding of the non-firewire interfaces I tried - in my budget range... http://www.tascam.com/Products/US-122.htmlSince then, the US144 has come out, and I like it - but I'm resisting buying it until I really need to replace mine.
