Found 319,000 musicians who claim pop music as their genre. More than I personally could listen to in a week =:-)

If you just ask for pop, the number goes up to 1,720,000 - but that could include folks who pop their top.

About sales - I'm not sure that's the right place. Heck, even here I can only get a few people to trade CDs with me. MySpace is more of a place for support. You can add a link to your web page that will help with sales, tho.
