As everybody has mentioned....there are a lot of good points being made. I would love to hear info talks and presentations. Whether or not it is a good idea for the Whistle Stop, that's up for debate.

I'd certainly love to see the monthly get together continue at the Whistle Stop. I look forward to seeing everyone, hearing everyone and playing myself. I even look forward to my Turkey Wrap sandwich. As far as an info session, maybe that's something that could be set up on a quarterly basis at a place that is not so much a performing venue.

We all also need to remember something as well - while I'm a newbie, and I wasn't around to witness the days Jak refers to, we're still one of the strongest chapters around thanks to Al, Jerry and all our fellow members. Whether it's in person or through the boards, we all try to help each other out when there's a question or concern.
