The version below of "Green Grow the Rushes 0" is the sheet music I'm looking for. I've Googled "Siuil A Run" and found a site located in Ireland. But, when I tried to order, my debit card was reject twice causing me to get a security alert. I sent an email to this website and the salesperson informed me that they've been having problems with VISA cards. So that is why I turned to all of you.
GREEN GROW THE RUSHES O
Naught, but care on every hand In every hour that passes oh That signifies the life of man Twas not for the lassies oh Chorus (after each verse): Green grow the rushes oh Green grow the rushes oh The sweetest hours that e're I spent Spent among the lassies oh The worldly race may riches chase And riches still may fly them oh When at last they catch them fast Their hearts can ne'er enjoy them oh
Chorus (after each verse): Green grow the rushes oh Green grow the rushes oh The sweetest hours that "e'er" I spent Spent among the lassies oh ** Give me a quiet hour at e'en My arms around my dearie oh Warly cares and warly men May a gae topsy-turvy oh
Chorus (after each verse): Green grow the rushes oh Green grow the rushes oh The sweetest hours that "e'er" I spent Spent among the lassies oh
Your so grave you sneer at this You're not but senseless asses oh The wisest man the world e'er saw Dearly loved the lassies oh
Green grow the rushes oh Green grow the rushes oh The sweetest hours that "e'er" I spent Spent among the lassies oh
Green grow the rushes oh Green grow the rushes oh The sweetest hours that "e'er" I spent Spent among the lassies oh
