I do not know how to work those voting thingies....tried one before and it failed miserably....could you do it for us? Okay, I'll collect the list and make a poll on Monday...but I sure hope one poll will contain all these choices. Or do we now have enough choices?... I have to admit, maybe something truly horrible like "The Night Chicago Died" takes us deeper into the real meaning of Uncoverable. Ack! Here's the list so far...do we really want more choices? I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive House of the Rising Sun Loch Lommond Imagine Stairway to Heaven Freebird My Generation Born to Run Nowhere Man Satisfaction Sunny Afternoon Layla Free Man in Paris Only The Lonely Werewolves of London Subterreanean Homesick Blues Temptation It Ain’t Me Babe Isn’t It a Pity Several Species of Small Furry… (etc) You May Be Right (I May Be Crazy) For a Friend Lawyers, Guns & Money For the Turnstiles Copperhead Road Bohemian Rhapsody Like A Virgin Wuthering Heights He Works Hard for the Money You Make Me Feel Like Dancin' When You Wish Upon a Star My Way Polk Salad Annie The Night Chicago Died Love Shack Patience Tiny Dancer Wildworld You Were Meant For Me Smooth Dream A Little Dream of Me Relax Personal Jesus Mama Thing is, I think Cincinnati is the coverband capital of the world {our "original" musicians don't suck either, then there's folks like me who do both, but I digress!}and believe it or not I think I've heard EVERY one of those songs covered at one time or another. {I've probably covered HALF of em'!}We have a venerable band called "The Menus" who've been around for 25 years that play everything from Neil Diamond to Boston, and do it well. We have a band called The Rusty Griswolds that do all 80's music and yes they do "Mama" and "Relax". There was a now-defunct band called "X-Tra Cheese" that specialized in cheezy 70's tunes and yes, they did "The Night Chicago Died" We have a guitar virtuoso named Sonny Moorman who tears up "Layla" {among others}. And as far as Dylan, Zevon, Cat Stevens, Floyd ect..Well there's Yours Truly!
