That's kind of what I was thinking, too, Mark. With so many naysayers commenting about many of the songs on the list, it almost seems the original question has been answered: There is no such thing as an uncoverable song, as it would appear that a number of performers here have, at one time or another, done every song ever written.
Still, whatever song is chosen, I will enjoy listening to the various interpretations. I recommended "Bohemian Rhapsody" because I personally have not heard other versions of it (though apparently there have been many) and, like I said before, that's one song that would almost certainly require an innovative take on it.
And for the couple of comments that seem anti-"Bohemian Rhapsody," keep in mind that your JPF brethren are the ones voting for it. Are they all misguided in their thinking?
