It seems to me that the Blues came out of the Negro Spirituals mostly assoiated with the slaves and from there became the blues.

Not sure if there were any native americans involved but I suppose it could be possible.

Perhaps you can point us to some actual information that is posted somewhere.

My family, on my father's side were Quakers migrating from France in 1066 supposedly with William the Conquerer to England and then to America sometime before 1756. The Quakers were involved with the underground railroad.
At least 3 of my ancesters were members of the House of Commons. One was pretty lively. Look up the Long Parliment.
