Well John,
Two names. Chris Dodd and Barney Frank. You really need to take off your Rose Colored Glasses. Frank and Dodd thought they could allow loans to be made, bought up by Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac, and all would be well in Uptopia! But paying the freight by too many on those mortgages was a total bust. They are still touting re-financing those loan at a lower rate. Guess what. The people still can't afford them! Dirty Politics is alive and well.
