Hi Brian,
I know it's a huge undertaking that you just completed with the changes to this forum. Big kudos to you!
I noticed that when I edit my reply to someone, it offers me the choice of having that edit date show up as a footnote on the bottom, or having it appear as though the edit was part of the original post, with no one knowing that I ever went in an edited my response.
In the past, that edit footnote was automatic, and I thought that that was a perfect and very smart feature. If I reply to someone, and that person then edits the original message that prompted my response...things could get very confusing, especially during a controversial or heated forum discussion. With the old, automatic edit notification, everyone could at least see if a post had been edited after a reply had been posted.
Hope I'm making sense!
Thanks for listening...
Lisa
