Thanks for asking about Dawg. I am going to assume that you know, or that you are familiar with, our beloved Bobbie Gallup here at JPF. Bobbie and Dawg (Corky Bernard) were married. Dawg (screen name "greydog") passed away in July of 1995. He was a master storyteller and songwriter. And he was so full of wit and compassion that it is almiost impossible to describe. he was truly one of a kind. In my mind, and in the mind of many others I am told, he could tell a story in a song as good as Tom T. Hall. If you are interested in reading any of his works, just go the Songrwriters' Forums 1 and 2 and search for his posts. he was amazing. I put music to several of his lyrics. I still miss him everyday. He was a wonderful man.
