I gotta rant a bit... I find it strange that here, of all places something like Karaoke Idol gets serious attention! Sure,they can sing well, maybe they've worked hard at it, but come on...it's glorified Karaoke!
Any Biblical types should be especially offended; that whole 'false idols' thing. These people have songs handed to them to sing, sure they make 'arrangements' of some songs but really folks, make them write a song to win with and we'll see how the future of the show unfolds...
They might just as well make a show for people who read music really well, and give them chart after chart to play, all cover tunes of course.
there...had to get that off my chest!
