If taxes weren't taken at the point of a gun would people pay? Helping others is a voluntarily choice of an individual. Knock on my door and ask for food and I'd feed you. Come to my door with a gun to take my food and see what happens. The evil done by government is multitudes more than any good accomplished by government.
