Tricia,
Unfortunately, I understand this situation all too well. I give thanks for every single day that I have had, since I had major heart issues many years ago. It's amazing what they can do...you being a nurse know that, but of course.....you also know the down side. That's why you're worried. But Tricia....I am living testimony to the advancement of medical science, so try so hard not to worry and just be there for her just like you are. That will mean so much to her...if you don't let her see the worry on your face. She needs her family's support so much now because losing your health is such a psychologically difficult thing to deal with. That in itself, feels like the end of something. The sadness over the loss of your good health can take a toll all by itself, so just be there for her....make her laugh.....she can do the tears all on her own. She is in my prayers now and will stay there....please let us know how she is doing along the way.
Luv ya'
Jan
