Yikes - makes me wonder what came in first Just a terrific job on that, Steve. It's very catchy and your trademark jangly guitar is perfect for it. I would have preferred a fade out too but that's a minor nit - this is fantastic! Scott Howdy Scott, I wanted to fade it out myself but the rule of the contest was supposed to be that we stayed faithful to the rough demo the authors made up. This is the way they had it so that's how I produced it. Unfortunately the guy who won didn't follow the rule and took it in a completely different direction. One of the co-writers thought the alternative sound was more marketable than my retro sound. Actually this version was the first rough demo I did. I know that because the bass line is really basic and stays mostly on the root notes where the final version was more melodic on the bass but I have no idea what happened to it. I just discovered this version by accident. Anyway, thanks for the listen and compliments. They are appreciated. Thanks Pal, Steve
I'm the only person here who is not unique.
