That is a very interesting reverie song with a lot of detail.
I am gonna have to look up some of those names, but those little radios were cool. I had to put mine by the window to get a clear tone though.

Doug Hi Doug, "how I stood by Tammy" refers to Tammy Wynette's big hit "Stand By Your Man" Glen Campbell's "Gentle On My Mind" was the first album I ever bought. Wallach's Music City, Los Angeles, Ca. 1968... "Livin' On Tulsa Time" may have been Don Williams, and anachronistic, if it came out in the seventies... 'Billie Jo' refers to the girl who jumps off the bridge in "Ode To Billie Joe" which still haunts me, to this day, when I hear it... "Down In the Boondocks" was a cross-over hit for Billy Jo Royal, and that fact might confuse some people, cuz "Billie Jo" is in that same line... Glad you enjoyed it.  Mike
