I enjoyed readin' What's There, just wished for More...as to what the Dog had Done during it's lifespan...before it got snuffed.
THEN its death MIGHT have felt More-Tragic.
But..As-'Tis, it's a Sad-Ending Overview...of a pretty dull, everyday Dog's Life Story...and ends More-Humanely than if its Owner'd blown-it-away with his rifle...as often-happens.
