I hope you survived your swim! LOL! Also, this is the thing with you -- I'm talking dogs and you go talking elephants! I'm trying to write about a dog, okay, not an elephant, and you're getting me all confused! I'm confused enough about elderly dog walkers and all...
I'm being redundant about the fact that I've done a rewrite, but I'll say that I've done a rewrite and I did take the "mangy" out but added that his coat was full of grit and sand! Actually, though, the poor thing was, apparently, very mangy, with all types of lumps and bumps all over him!
