So far, responses are about what I expected. I understand where all of you are coming from. It's still a shame that people are forced to risk everything to resist what used to be (may still be deep within the mind of Putin... ex KGB) the Soviet Union.

Dan: I'm not sure you read my original statement about the U.S. and Russian Governments. I served my country in Naval Aviation many years ago. The Soviets were our enemies then and could become enemies again if they continue their same path. Regardless, I still trust our creepy Government more than the Russians... but not much since Obama arrived on the scene.

I am more than aware of all the trouble spots in the world. You failed to mention Cuba and others... but I get your drift.
