Hi Ray:
I would be reluctant to expose you... and the rest of the world to one of my performances. Fortunately for me, I can sit here in my studio and re-record my songs until I'm blue in the face and too tired to continue. My orchestra (an arranger keyboard) is paid for and so... time is not a constraining or expensive factor.
While we are wishing... if only I could sing like that other Hank... or maybe George Strait... but no-o-o-o... I'm stuck with this ancient set of pipes and they seem to sound different with each song. Getting old is not for sissies.
Anyway, it would be nice if we were knockin' off tons of hits and looking for ways to hide our money. Then, we could zip up to Canada and pick up Everett, then fly down to Florida, pick up Ben and return to Glynn County and spend a weekend pickin' and grinning out on St. Simon's Island. (Lear Jets or Gulfstreams are such handy things.)
Boy, how do I manage to divert or hi-jack my topics so badly? I hope the folks over in the Ukraine understand that we are just fun loving guys, trying to "hit the big time" in the music biz.
Regards,
Dave

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
