The Ukraine is basically two countries split East and West. This conflict is really about whether the banks in Frankfurt or the government in Moscow will control the Ukraine. The ultimate losers will be the Ukrainian people no matter how it turns out.
Most likely the country will be divided and the East will become a Russian satellite and the West will end up in the same position as Greece.
