you can say whatever you want. Some people here see politics in almost every song. Marty says persons are political. If you write a love song about a person, you're writing a political song. This sucks.

I don’t see that as a personal insult or attack. I didn’t call Marty any names or attack his character. I was expressing frustration about the way politics keeps getting brought into songwriting discussions and how some songs are interpreted through a political lens.

“This sucks” was clearly directed at the situation, not at Marty as a person.

It seems that you display obliviousness to the obvious regularly.
I took it as an attack.
You stated that something that I wrote...SUCKS.
It was beyond the pale and crossing the line and a bridge too far.
