Hi Sharon, really enjoyed this a bunch. One line really threw me and I think I know what it is your trying to say, but it just comes across a bit fragmented.
"Like fire to steel tempers for what's ahead?" almost sounds like two sentences fragmented together?? Maybe I'm just slow in the romance department - iddy
