My Sennheiser PC-155 computer headset sounds surprisingly good for phones with a mic and a USB adapter. Good for listening directly from a desktop 'puter, and the USB I/O is cleaner than most computers' built-in sound cards.
Also have a soft spot in my head for my old Sony MDR-V6 which sadly walked away from my desk at work one night. The MDR-7506 is very similar to that.
