Of the few headphones I have had over the years I have found that the most basic headphones gave excellent sound. Headphones, (like everything else) can be hyped about the ability to reproduce he best sound. The most important thing is the material they are made of. You can get rustic sounds from dragging them across your ears as you put them on if the material is a bit harsh. As long as the speaker is of a sound design most any headphone will do. If you can try some out do it. If not buy a pair in the mid price range.
