I agree, but all governments are in power because God wants them there, and we should render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and render unto God what is God's. Taxes are a way of distributing wealth for the betterment of all. All are taxes at the same rate for their earnings or profit to a certain level, after they pass that level, they pay a higher rate, but never 100%. A person earning $20,000.00 a year needs every cent to live on, someone making ten million can live quite comfortably on what is left, even if he is taxed at 50%.
