Hi Mike & Kristi,
This is just wonderful. The lyrics are well done and tightly written. The music, that might have come out dirge-like, is light and takes some interesting and unexpected turns. The vocals are just perfect.
The only nit I have is with this line:
"The dog plowed through the litter box"
It just doesn't belong in a romantic song like this. Maybe something like "The dog howled all through the night"? Something, anything, but that.
Good for you, Kristi, trying something new, and good for you, Mike, helping her grow. Another fine collab.
