Greetings: This certainly appears to be a warm and friendly site. I am primarily involved with the Indie music scene, and run a couple of Internet radio stations (Country, Pop and Jazz) that play only tracks by independent and small label artists. In addition, I have recently launched a community website intended to bring Indie artists, fans and radio people together. A real work in progress, we have a station directory and forum up and running. Since I haven't had a chance to dig into the fine print of the rules here, I don't know whether it would be appropriate to name the sites or provide links. My motivation, aside from a love of music, is to provide opportunities for artists who don't have the advantage of a huge bankroll, wealthy backers or a big name label. In other words, I promote music that deserves to be heard. Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting at least some of you on the forum and to contribute to the community as well. Best wishes!
