I'm a new member to the forums, but I've been lurking for a while, I'm a shy guy.
I'm originally from Windsor, Ontario (Canada) - but I now live in Chelsea, Michigan. I've been over here for the last 11 years working in the Information Technology field.
I love singing, and the only thing I enjoy more than singing is writing lyrics.
Back in 2001, I start collaborating with a co-worker who played guitar and we had a plan of writing 30 songs, choosing the best 12 and making an album. It took us a while, about 8 years, we finally hit the goal, but we still haven't recorded any of those in "finished" format.
This year I decided that I apparently had a lot to say and wanted to start to create music again as a creative outlet, so I challenged myself to this year's FAWM event. 14 songs later, I felt very accomplished and proud of myself.
I figured why stop there, so I used the resources I have available to make some of the songs sound acceptable enough to share out and made an EP called "Through These Eyes", which has 6 of the 14 songs that I wrote through February of this year. If you're interested, you can stream the EP on Bandcamp, link is in my sig, and if you wanted to take a listen to the rough drafts of what I came up with this year, I think they are still available for download on the FAWM site - http://fawm.org/fawmers/jnadon/
Anyway - that's a little about me and I look forward to participating in the forums and learning from you all.
Thanks for having me...
Jason
