Derek, You really don't know much about Crime and Punishment do you? Let me put it another way. In the Military if someone broke the rules but they couldn't identify the culprit everyone suffered. If Liberty was on the table everybody's liberty was cancelled. Sort of like in a War. If someone in a town did something to the occupying force the whole town may suffer maybe by killing a few residents.
Some say there is nothing worse than a thief. I guess you have never heard about the two farmers and their mules.
No Derek, you don't respect my point of view. It make take someone stealing something of yours to understand it a bit better. Sometimes you have to make an example out of someone.
This argument has been hashed out here already. No use going thru it again.
