Just to clarify my point of view. I do not condone theft. I also do not condone overpricing either The public have been ripped off for many years by overcharging for merchandise and recorded music etc.
I certainly do not approve of chasing after petty matters before arresting those ringleaders involved in organised crime. That sends out the wrong message and smacks of corruption and incompetence.
I do believe in protecting individuals privacy. However there are ways to investigate SUSPECTS properly without intrusion and looking at private files. I also believe up to a point in the saying that if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.
