Hey Kevin,
Yeah, it is kind of a difference, but I think it comes down to the fact ( in my case anyway ) that the stations there happen to pick up the material in the genre they like, and then embed a station player, say in a myspace page or wherevever, so your song could be spread all over the internet, not just at the site itself. Also, I think the traffic volume compared to the number of songs available is in a much higher ratio than sounclick which has millions of songs, and it is easy to get lost in the noise. Congrats on getting picked on the Hitline !, very cool to have your song up there for a week or so, which has added to more plays/listens.
