I'm a sounclick supporter myself, despite some of the drawbacks.
As posted, it saves a lot of energy and money from trying to boot something up on a homesite.
I had maybe 2 recordings up on my homesite with many others I could'nt put up before soundclick. Good for some teaming also, if you use your mind with it.
If one wants to get past critiques and know how you may want to proceed though, than the only logical alternative is to risk crucifying yourself musically and make that move getting hooked up with pro organizations to get further.
At least you may be able to work out of an intermediate or semi-pro status as opposed to just lingering along.
I'm taking your advice and joining ASCAP, niteshift.
