Hi Jim,
Hey -- didn't I once vote you off this island because you don't like dogs?! LOL! I have a tip I recently learned about barking dogs, and it works most of the time with my dog and visitors. If you don't look at a dog's eyes, he's much more likely not to bark at you! Apparently, if a dog is barking because he's fearful of you, then looking at him is very threatening.
