Pop music these days, I just cannot relate. Rap and hiphop, I just don't identify with that.
I recently saw a Billboard chart where either ALL of the top 10 or 9 out of the top 10 songs were black artists. And the music style they played was not to my liking. I like r&b stuff, which is predominately black artists but this new stuff... uh uh.
So, will folks who can't relate to today's pop music give a boost to country music? Which is almost totally created by white artists?
I don't mean for my questions to promote racial intolerance. Just different styles of music and who controls the genre for whatever reason. For instance, Charley Pride, I thought was awesome.
