If your question is "If 9 out of 10 pop songs are by BLACK artists, will that move some people to country"...
My answer is "Only if the presence of BLACK artists being so prevalent is troubling to them."
That would, in my opinion, be a decision based on racial intolerance, rather than musical taste.
There is plenty of good old fashioned "white" music being made today for those who feel the need to hear it.
You make the subtle assumption that ALL Black people like hip hop and rap.
The three women that work for me are not fans of the genre.
They, like me, are happy to see the influx of more melodic songs lately, as opposed to the more pure rhythm oriented hard core rap and hip hop.
