Yes, and the key sometimes is just to let the song come to you.
It isn't where you set out thinking "it can go this way that way or that way... But you can try this or that and decide on which is best and feels best. This is where working with others is HUGE!
I always do my best work when others are involved. Nothing beats having a group of some kind to bounce back & forth with. And you don't have to imagine what it will sound like as much.

Writing a hit song is way MORE than just writing a hit song.
The FACT that YOU were able to get it to be a hit is even FAR harder. So even when I hear a TERRIBLE song on the radio.
I still know how much luck,work or BS someone may have had to go through regardless.

So anyhow like I always say when in doubt,first look at the clock,the counter on your song... Many clues are there.
