Is the length of a song ever wrong, Doesn't it depend on what it's for, Shorter if you want commercial, Longer for a movie score. And isn't based on genre too, Thereby making a distinction, I don't think every lengthy song, Is destined for extinction. So much depends on it's purpose, It's presentation in each venue, There's a time for short, medium and long, There's a place on the musical menu!
