Now after reading all of this I am totally confused.  I suppose my best bet is to look at the songs that play on radio now and see how long they are and try to aim in that direction. I know it can be longer when done live and that is cool, but if we as writers dream, a big dream, but dream of hearing one of ours on the radio, I suppose we have to try to get to that point of making it not too long or too short...as Goldilocks said, "Just right"  Kim
