Mike is awesome, I agree. And very talented and patient too! lol

However he did not come “after”…he was there from the beginning, helping me write the melody…. showing me how to pull the natural rhythm out of the words and the musical options for ways to go and what effect even one chord can have on the entire feel of a line. It’s all very enlightening and fun at the same time!

I can’t thank Mike enough for his tireless energy as he guided me through the process. BIAB is quite fun, I must say! But I don’t know how to pull it all together. I only know what notes/chords I like…putting it all together is another story!! Just having the ear to know what instruments “go” with other instruments can make a huge difference in a song! Mike has that ear and vision.

It’s an ongoing learning process for me…something which appeals to me creatively…..
