Well, I am reminded of the old saying, I WILL DAZZLE THEM WITH FOOTWORK. I do wonder how many times a Excellent Demo sells a not so ready song that gets released and then bombs.
I am against providing tracks for any artist. If they are serious then they should be ready to do it all from scratch. Of course there are a lot of "Hangers On" that want a part of the product even if it ultimently proves unsucessful.
I invarably caution against spending huge amounts of money on demos. If the song is what someone is looking for the basic demo will suffice. A Publisher will want something more Pro sounding but probably won't want to spend any money on another demo. As is always recommended, if you can't sing some and get a good basic demo made of your songs get a demo service to do it for you. Don't spend more than $300.00.
