Well,
Can a demo be good if it is just a singer with no music? Can a demo be good if it is acompanied with just Piano or Guitar? Who decides what a good demo is?

I don't talk to nobody Marc. When I sit down to write a song I am on my own. I had better write a professional song or it will get no attention. When a Record Label/Producer/Artist decides to record an album I expect them to be professional. If they can't do it then I am unable to help them. I can't be there when they take the stage to do a performance. I can't go into the studio with them and hold their hand. They better be big boys, well you said it yourself a number of times, or they better fold their tent and go home. When those songs go thru all those "Filters" are those "Movers and Shakers" professionals or am I the only one?

Big Jim when I send out a song it is there. It is ready to be taken to that next stage. I don't have to make any excuses for the song even if it is only my Guitar/Vocal. As I understand it most if not all the above named writer's co-write. If you can co-write with an artist it improves your chances of getting on a release. My songs have to stand on their own. If they are rejected chances are it wasn't quite what they were looking fo at present.

Did I tell you My Publisher got requests for two more of his songs. Things are happening.
