It is all a revolving circle.

If you have a solo written song with no allies, you are trying to get that song access to people over their own intersets. In this day and age, that is doubtful to happen. So you have a song for yourself.

If you have a song with a poor quality demo, it doesn't measure up to current industry standards and what your competition are doing. It is the equvilant of an Amish horse and buggy on today's Interstates and freeways.

If you have no constituants within machines, artists on the ground floor, publishers, producers, pluggers, people who are ahead of you in line, who will put you ABOVE their own interests, you stay where you are.

If you cannot demonstrate a way to create econmic activity for other people as well as yourself, you have no incentive for people to put you into the ball game.

Those are the facts of life.

Everyone has the right, responsibility to write what they want to.
No one has the right to be heard.
Everyone has the ability to go where their talents, drive and determination take them.

No one has to embrace that drive.

It is about creating a situation where as other people embrace you as much as you do.

Without all of those things, you are not in the game and just writing for yourself.

For some people, that is enough.
