Aaron is correct, in that a lot of younger people are scared away from the boards. The average age of the regular posters here is between 40 and 50, per Brian. I would like to see new blood, fresh ideas, and a more inclusive environment. A LOT of the songs posted here are country. I would like to see more variety in the music posted here. I think it would expand the membership and give the younger members more opportunities to collab on what THEY like. For this reason, I still support the idea of genre specific forums, but I don't think we need 100 of them....I think we could maybe get them down to 10 catagories that could embrace several sub-genres.
