An aside (sort of): Most educational self-help book I bought but never read was "How to Be Rich" by J. Paul Getty. Paid full price for it, too (at least it was cheap). Guy's a billionaire, right? Should have tons of helpful tips, right? The book starts out, "Well, first you have to be rich." Yes, I did learn a few lessons. I don't know if they were the ones Mr. Getty intended--but maybe they were.

Last time I went to Nashville (2007), I bought one of those "how to make it in the music business" books from a shop at the Nashville Airport that mostly sold nothing else. (Needed something to read while waiting for the plane, which was late as usual.) The book's basic premise was you had to move to Nashville. I left it in the airport lounge for the next sucker.
