Hey Tans,
Well, what a great collab !
Thar's some impressive playing by Mr Ferrin, and a well delivered vocal.
Nits or crits ? Not much really. Perhaps a little more seperation of the versus and chorus. Maybe a bit more ( vocal )notation, as the first 2 lines drag a little. I'm not so sure about sliding the finishing note ( "in and within" ) of the phrases.
It's all there for sure. and cretainly ready for musical arrangement. ( I'd pick out the best piano parts, and then simplify a bit )
