Folks,

We've tried for many years to keep folks together rather than segregate things, but it may be time to try to offer different areas so that people who do primarily Country Music can focus on that while those who do Pop, Rock, Rap, Jazz etc. can have their own areas. It's pointless to rehash people's negative opinions about entire genres and I want to shift from negativity to productivity.

JPF as an entire group is made up of about 5-8% Country music makers. The rest fall into one or more of 99 other genres. Yet on the board it seems to be about 85% Country (or similar to Country) and just a sampling of all other genres. I want Rockers or Rappers or Pop artists or Jazz and Electronic music makes to feel comfortable and find supportive help here.
